Ha! Did I have fun....(you know I have been painting and drawing a lil, so I decided to try my hand)
Upon arrival “horse devours” were served, a lil marinated tuna and shrimp with sea grass.....(pfftt...pffftt, spit, spatter... Sea grass) then came the hot wings with pine apple, and the class was started....
Every one sat in front of a real wrapped canvas on an easel, next to a large paper plate with dollops of acrylic paints, water glass and different paint brushes.....
The painting we were to replicate was a light house on the ocean in rolling hills of green.
The artist and owner of this establishment, started to give us instructions on how to go about to paint this "scape of a Light house" and on we went. All in all it was so much fun, dinner was served while we were painting and we took a bite here and there.
A 3 hour event, and even if you are not an artists one can have great fun at this event.
I will post mine here and I think I did not to shabby, having never painted with acrylics.... I don’t think I did too bad....
I might think of bringing a lil group of friends there down the road.
